Hello, I’m Bethany Nauert Mendez.

If you’ve seen my name in print or online before, it was most likely connected to my photography—and the spaces I’ve had the privilege of capturing.

With 20 years of experience in the commercial photography world, I’ve often found myself stepping beyond the camera to take on the roles of producer, art director, and creative collaborator. Somewhere along the way, I realized that some of my favorite work was happening in the space between the original idea and the finished image.

After losing my beloved husband in July 2025, I found myself looking more closely at the things that bring me joy, curiosity, and a sense of connection. One of those things has always been jewelry.

I love jewelry not only for its beauty, decoration, and self-expression, but for the stories it carries. A piece can hold a memory, mark a moment, become part of a family, or simply make you feel a little more like yourself. I started sharing more of that fascination on TikTok, and—as these things tend to happen—one thing led to another.

And here we are.

I founded Nauert Creative as a home for creative art direction, brand specific design collaborations, resourcing where I serve as concierge to help you grow your collection, and the ongoing pursuit of the perfect stack.

Sometimes, we just need someone to point us in the right direction.
